No Auto-subscribe? was created by veeshmack
its a littel annoying when i check my emails and it has a bunch of emails from SR saying a reply to thread. i know it can be manually undone. but it automatically does it everytime i start a thread. is there a place i can turn that off permanantly? i check the site often enough to know when a thread gets a reply :)

I knew this would come up some day... I'll manually remove you from the subscriptions.

Unfortunately there's a bug in the profile page where you're supposed to be able to manage your subscriptions - in the "Forum" tab - it doesn't let you unsubscribe, when it should.

Sorry about that, and I'll try to fix it when I get a chance.

Note that when you reply to a thread, there's a "subscribe" checkbox which you can turn off (it's on by default).

I forgot to mention, this will be a b&*ch to fix, because it's code that was not developed by me, and I looked for a fix a few months ago but couldn't find one. It'll probably take me some time when I get around to it. I know it must be fixed, though, and soon.
