American Whey (American Sports Nutrition)
ponshoe, since this stuff is supposed to have zero lactose, do you have any idea what your side effects (gas, bloating) could have been caused by? I'm concerned because I wanted to get a big tub of this for my next round of whey, and I'm lactose intolerant (and have a sensitive stomach in general).
Also, which flavour did you try?

i have heard that flavors are good, mixability is good, cant say anything more than that since i havent tried it myself yet. i heard the biggest issue is with the flavor/carb choice being fructose (i think)
i will eventually be getting around to trying it.

This product is about 70% isolate and 30% ion exchanged concentrate, so I find it more than a little unlikely that it contains any significant amount of lactose. I'd be more than a little surprised if the fructose/Stevia combination would be responsible for any bloating.
Perhaps my views are somewhat biased since I've never had any lactose related GI distress.

I was not previously aware of fructose malabsorption. Fructose intolerance is much more rare. The consequences of eating fructose in that case are quite a bit worse than GI distress.
