Creatine Ethyl Ester (Higher Power)

Higher Power takes creatine to the next level with new supplement technology that enables the production of its esterfied version. Creatine Ethyl Ester, a.k.a. CEE, has taken a front row seat for anabolic potential. Experience smaller serving sizes, optimal absorption, no expensive transport formula while achieving all the gains and more with Creatine Ethyl Ester.

I got this creatine in version of CEE because of a big sale from bb.com, where they manage Higher Power brand.

Higher power is distinguished because of their low prices and decent quality products, howerver CEE is not one of them. I did take full dose (taking 5g of CEE a day, even on OFF days) and it didn't do anything noticeable. My lifts were all the same, no strength gains, much more less mass gains. Pumps were just as normal, the only good thing is that there were not any bloat at all (which I usually get from mono or micro) but I would've prefer some water retention with results rather than nothing.

It was a totally waste of money and now I understand people that hate this form of creatine, CEE. Spend you money best in other formulas.

I purchased Higher Power Creatine Ethyl Ester in the Fall of 2007. After using regular creatine monohydrate, I decided that I would give in to the good things I was hearing about CEE and try it for myself. After taking it for two monthts, I was disappointed.
Muscle Gain: 1/10 I experienced no muscle gain while taking the product. Creatine monohyrdate worked much better.
Strength: 1/10 I gained strength but felt that it was just from the hard work and not the CEE.
Physical Energy: 1/10 No change in physical energy.
Side Effects: No side effects were experienced.
Taste: 0/10 This was by far the worst tasting supplement I have ever came in counter with. Every time I took it, it made me want to puke. Even mixed in fruit punch, the taste was horrible.
Mixing: The CEE did not mix into water very well and left residue at the bottom of the glass.
Safety: Supposedly CEE is made to be easier on your liver than regular creatine monohyrdate.
Value: This was a great value. I recieved like 80 servings for 20 dollars.

Overall, I would not recommend this product over regular creatine monohyrdate. I did not notice any extra increase in size or strength and the taste of the product is almost unbearable. If you are looking to try creatine, spend your money on creatine monohyrdate.

Well priced and offers noticeable results in strenght more than weight gain. What I liked about the Ethyl version of creatine is that no loading is required, but be sure to drink alot of water daily. But tastes really bad and doesn't mixes up right away. But, good recovery and overall happy with the product.

Creatine Ethyl Ester (CEE) is creatine with an Ester group attached. This supposedly makes the creatine easier to absoarb by the cells. There is currently a good bit of controversy over whether or not CEE is real. There's data both ways. I took Higher Power CEE for 3 months, and am currently cycling off for a month.

Despite many claiming that CEE doesn't work, I experienced good results while taking it. I had a lot more stamina during my workouts and recovered more quickly (less soreness). My strength also increased significantly during those 3 months (Example: max bench from 185 up to 215).

I experienced minimal side effects with Higher Power's pure CEE powder. No bloat, no nausea, no dizziness. Just a slight increase in "back-ne"

The main downfall of this product is the taste. Creatine Monohydrate Powder is relatively tasteless. The Creatine Ethyl Ester taste absolutely terrible. Gagging terrible. It cuts through anything you try to mix it with. I was able to slug it down in a SuperPump shake or in a big glass of grape juice or Gatorade...but it's rough.

When my month of cycling off creatine ends, I will be starting monohydrate instead of ethyl ester. While I did achieve good results with the Higher Power Ethyl Ester, I can't stand the taste, and continued questioning of CEE's real benefit makes me want to stick with the tried and true CMH.
